Getting in to Niseko
The airport located nearest to Niseko is the New Chitose Airport in Sapporo. Numerous airlines offer flights to this airport. International carriers such as Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Airlines, China Airlines, Air India, EVA Air, Korean Air, Thai Airways, Air Busan, Spring Airlines, and Jetstar all offer flights to Sapporo, among other carriers.
Domestic flights to Sapporo are offered by ANA, Skymark Airlines, Air Do and Solaseed air among other carriers. Flights to New Chitose Airport depart from locations many locations in Japan.
Two public bus lines transport passengers from New Chitose Airport to Niseko, with a minimum of four roundtrips per day. Taxi service is also available from the airport.
Reaching Niseko from Sapporo by train requires a train transfer at Otaru for most of the year, and generally has a reasonably long wait between train departures. Between December and March (peak skiing season) there are direct trains to Niseko from Sapporo in the morning aboard the Niseko Ski-Express train.

During skiing season, many bus services are provided by ski resorts to Niseko. Public bus lines run by Chuo Bus (+81 11 231 0500) and Donan Bus (+81 123 465701) offer trips to Niseko as well.
